In the movie "My so called life" the protagonist thinks to herself while passing the boy she's really attracted to that "boys have it so easy". What do you think she ment by that?
she probably said that because in the media men are shown to have no emotions, and they cant cry when their sad. men are basically seen as people who dont open up to others and have everything in control. women of course are seen as the exact opposite. we're seen as people who cry too much, or pms, or whiney. i think thats what the character meant when she said that boys have it so easy.
Men seem to have the upper hand in almost anything because they can get away with being dirty and still have a girlfriend but girls don't seem to have a boyfriend unless they are spotless.

I think she meant that men are the dominant ones and the women is always supposed to be at their feet that they don't hanve to try to attract a women.
I also think that the men are seen to just ignore the female in the beginning and slowly ease on.
