In the article above discusses numerous shootings, including those of four teenagers...
Throughout the city, teenagers are always included in reports of "gang related" shootings. What about those in the suburbs? Why is it that those are rarely ever linked to gangs? Could we say that every young teend in the city is involved with a gang? I don't think so. Do you think the news is portraying our young victims as criminals for a reason? Or is every incident involving teens, that makes it to the news, is really linked to gang activity? I have some doubts...

I think taht the kids in the suburbs are less afiliated with gangs are because of the tight communities that their classified as. I think to say that the shootings are gang related is wrong. Their has been many school shootings and they might say its agng related, but most of the times its a good student who couldn't take the harsh life students have created. Call them a gang if you want, but not everyone know all and to assume and alter what happens, at the end of the day will make their story better.
