So...what are we going to do about it?
Some of you have expressed disdain at the way inner city students are portrayed on the news, in movies, and on TV shows whether that be due to violence, academics, relationships, drugs, etc. So...my question is....what are we going to do about it? You are the pilot group. What can we do to address the side that is silenced, unspoken, not addressed? How can we show the reality of students who are proactive and care about their education? Now's the time to brainstorm...

i think that the inner-city studentz who are really intrested in showing the world how life realy iz inside our skoolz, should make a small documenrty, to show how dedicated we are. in the documantry we will show how we work 2gether az a group and independant 2 get where we wanna get, and show how juzt becuz we are surrouned by negativety, it dont mean that we gonna drop out, it just makez us stronger
That really sounds like a good idea, but how many kids will actually participate and do this documentary. And if one is made how can we expand it and make it more widely known? If such a documentary were made it should show a variety of kids and how they contirbute something positive for the community. If alot of effort is given then this project may actually b well known.
